Junior coaching runs from the end of April until early August. In order to ensure the availability of all coaches (who are volunteers)
U10 and below (including Girls) will run from 5.30pm until 7pm and all older age groups from 6.30pm until
8.00pm. Can we please remind all parents that outside of these times we are not responsible for the supervision of any of the juniors and
Cricket Club equipment is not to be used.
Please note if it is raining at 6pm there will be no coaching that evening, however if it is dry at 5.30pm we will continue supervision until
the end of the session, even if we need to go indoors.
We ask that all junior players sign-in with the club Safegaurding Officer (or their nomintated deputy) at the start of each session and sign-out at the end. This way we have
the correct information as to who we have under supervision. Juniors will be checked-in with wristbands to make this easy for all the coaches
to quickly identify if a player is signed in or not.
Where families have children in the two different sessions we ask that supervision is provided for any not in a timed session.
All our coaches and support workers have had enhanced DBS checks (formally CRB) and we will groups with the ECB recommended supervision
ratios. Please remember all our coaches are volunteers and have day jobs, sometimes many miles away and transport difficulties sometimes
result in coaches being held up. In these cases we will endeavour to start the session on time with a stand-in coach but we are sure you
will understand if occasionally a session has to start late (or finish early).
All age groups from U10 upwards will be playing matches in the Bucks County competitions and we do not charge extra for this.
The clubs takes child welfare very seriously and is signed up to all the ECB directives. Code of conducts and contact details can be found below.
You are welcome to either stay and enjoy, what we hope will be warm summer evenings and the hospitality of the bar, or leave your children in our care
and collect them at the end of the session.
We do ask that all players are registered on-line, a link for which can be found at the bottom of the page, and this includes contact details
for at least two alternative contacts per child. We aim to collect membership fees as soon as possible after registration as this ensures all
players are members and our insurance is valid. If you intend to stay and use the facilities we also ask that parents/carers join as social members
as this is a condition of our bar license (we are not a pub!). All fees can be found below and payment can be made to any member of the committee.
